JENNIFER AMATO Natural Therapy, located at 525 Milltown Road, was closed down by North Brunswick Police on May 2 because of an alleged prostitution ring.
NORTH BRUNSWICK - Five women were arrested last week for allegedly conducting a prostitution ring at a massage parlor on Milltown Road.

The North Brunswick Anti-Crime Unit executed a warrant around 9:30 p.m. May 2 at 525 Milltown Road, the site of the Natural Therapy business.

Gho Mei Zi, 43, Ying Ji Jin, 45, and Yang-Shu Liang, 43, who listed the office building as their residence, were each charged with engaging in prostitution and were transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center (MCACC) in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Choon Ja Yun, 63, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., was charged with promoting prostitution and engaging in a sex business within 1,000 feet of a church or school. She was also transported to the MCACC in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Chun H. Jeong, who is believed to be the owner of the business, was arrested on May 3. The 52-year-old woman from Palisades was charged with promoting prostitution and engaging in a sex business within 1,000 feet of a church or school. She was also remanded to the MCACC on $15,000 bail.

As of press time, police said they believed the women were released from jail, but their status could not be confirmed.

Reports came in from concerned citizens regarding activities at the business, so police surveyed the area and conducted an investigation. The business was shut down once before in August 2003, according to Lt. Roger Reinson. The incident is not connected to an alleged ring recently broken up by police in South Brunswick.

According to police, Code Enforcement is conducting a further investigation.
