Police seek shooting suspect

NORTH BRUNSWICK - Police are seeking a Union man who allegedly shot another man during a dispute over a woman on March 10.

According to police, two men were arguing over a female at a residence on Azalea Drive around 3 a.m. when the suspect, Farad Tutt, shot the victim twice with a .38-caliber handgun.

Tutt was described by police as a black male in his 30s. He is still at large; a warrant is out for his arrest.

The victim, who is 37, sustained injuries to his calf and ankle. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, where it was determined his injuries were not life-threatening.

The shooting is currently under investigation.
