Tickets now on sale for Raider Robotix show

The Raider Robotix team of North Brunswick Township High School will hold a bodybuilding, figure and health expo May 19 at 30 Raider Road.

Prejudging begins at noon, with the night show at 6 p.m. Prejudging show tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students. Night show prices are $10 and $5, respectively. Tickets now on sale for Social Club's dinner

The Italian American Social Club, Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick, is now selling tickets for its spaghetti dinner March 11 from noon-4 p.m. The menu will feature spaghetti, meatballs, salad, dessert, coffee and tea. Girls sought for North B'wick lacrosse program

The lacrosse program in North Brunswick is seeking girls in grades three through six to join a team with the season beginning in March and ending in early June. Practices are held two nights a week with games on Saturdays. Sticks, goggles and mouth guards are required.

Program on interfaith marriage Feb. 28

The adult education committee of Congregation B'nai Tikvah, North Brunswick, will present "Interfaith Marriage in Today's World" Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at South Brunswick Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

Dr. Rabbi Kerry Olitzky, executive director of the Jewish Outreach Institute, will give the free presentation, which will include a talk on the interfaith marriage between Queen Esther and King Ahashuerus, which is retold each year during the Jewish holiday of Purim.

'Forty Years of Movie Greats' begins March 1

North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road, will celebrate its 40th birthday with a film festival, "Forty Years of Movie Greats," during the month of March.

The festival will feature Academy Award-nominated movies spanning the last four decades, and the best motion picture of 2001. "Jungle Book" will be shown March 1, and "Rocky" March 8. "Big" is slated for March 15, "Mr. Holland's Opus" March 22, and "A Beautiful Mind" March 29.

Deadline March 2 to enter library's trivia quiz

North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road, is holding a "Forty Questions for Forty Years" trivia quiz with entry deadline March 2.

The library is celebrating its 40th birthday and holding a trivia quiz, as well as film festivals, book sales, and other activities. Trivia questions include what city Expo 67 was held in, what individuals was married at the White House in 1967, and what the cost of a first-class postage stamp was in 1967. The contest is limited to North Brunswick residents. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by random drawing.

Seminar on eBay Feb. 27 in North Brunswick

North Brunswick Municipal Building, 710 Hermann Road, will host a lesson on how to use the auction Web site eBay Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. The discussion will be led by eBay experts and the U.S. Postal Service. Seating is limited for the free one-hour seminar, and preregistration is required.

N.B. Pioneer Senior Club seeks members

The North Brunswick Senior Center's Pioneer Senior Club is seeking members, with membership open year-round to North Brunswick residents age 60 or older. Dues are $5 a year. Meetings are the first and thirds Wednesdays of the month at 1 p.m. at the senior center at 15 Linwood Place.
