Obituaries Stephen Edward Galle Jr. Mr. Galle, 87, of South Brunswick, died Jan. 11, 2007, at home following a brief illness. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he relocated to New Jersey 27 years ago, and resided in East Brunswick and Edison before relocating to South Brunswick. Before his retirement, Mr. Galle was a mailer at the New York Daily News, where he was employed 38 years. He served with U.S. Army during World War II. He volunteered at the Kingsbridge Veterans Hospital, Bronx; American Women's Voluntary Services; and the American Cancer Society. He was predeceased by two sons, Kevin and Stephen; and a sister Katherine. Mr. Galle is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lida Galle; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Larry Zyontz; a daughter-in-law, Laura Galle; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Arrangements were by Alloway Funeral Home, Merchantville. Catherine M. Lakatos Mrs. Lakatos, 85, of North Brunswick, died Jan. 19, 2007, at Willow Creek Rehabilitation and Care Center, Somerset. Born in Port Chester, N.Y., she resided in Milltown and North Brunswick most of her life. Mrs. Lakatos was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3117, Edison, and the North Brunswick PTA. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank E. Lakatos, in 2003. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Bedell of North Brunswick; a son, Frank R. Lakatos; a sister, Violet Cusumano of Toms River; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mary A. Corbett Mrs. Corbett, 71, of South Brunswick, died Jan. 22, 2007, at Franklin Care Center, Franklin Township. Born in Baltimore, she resided in Jackson before relocating to South Brunswick in 2002. Mrs. Corbett was a certified nurse's aide at a Lakewood nursing home. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James K. and Joan Corbett of Milltown, and Charles C. and Patricia Corbett of Monroe; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ray Mooney of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Ethel Fiddler of Baltimore; and two grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. Thomas L. Lukowski Mr. Lukowski, 57, of East Brunswick, died Jan. 24, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Lukowski; a son, Thomas L. Lukowski Jr., and a daughter, Tricia L. Lukowski, both of East Brunswick; a brother, Kevin Lukowski of North Brunswick; and a sister, Barbara Molnar of South River. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
William Brady Mr. Brady, 81, of Old Bridge, died Jan. 24, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a salesman at Dayton Dodge, Dayton section of South Brunswick. His wife, Barbara Beverly Weinbrock Brady, died in 1993. Surviving are three sons, Kevin Brady of North Brunswick, Shawn Brady of Belleplain and Patrick Brady of Spring Lake; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
