Obituaries Jean M. Lytkowski Mrs. Lytkowski, 94, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., died Jan. 13, 2007, at JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, Fla. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she resided in New Brunswick and North Brunswick, prior to relocating to Royal Palm Beach. She was a sales clerk at Brooks Clothing, New Brunswick, for 20 years, retiring in the late 1970s. She was a former communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was a member of the North Brunswick Pioneers Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Lytkowski in 1992; and a son, Angelo Michael Mupo in 2000. She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Benze of North Brunswick, Dorothy Rafferty of Middlesex, and Lucia DeWeese of California; a grandson; and four great-grandchildren. Entombment was at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
William E. Swirk Mr. Swirk, 83, of North Brunswick, died Jan. 12, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Shenandoah, Pa., he resided in Sayreville for more than 40 years, prior to relocating to North Brunswick three years ago. He was a teamster at Johanna Farms, Flemington, for 45 years, retiring 18 years ago. Prior to that, he was employed at Puritan Dairy, Perth Amboy. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. He was a member of the Sayreville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, and South River American Legion Post No. 214; and life member of the South River Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen B. Trzaska Swirk in 2002; two brothers, Francis and Joseph Swirk; and two sisters, Bernadette Porsi and Evelyn Haouck. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Joseph Paparatto of North Brunswick; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Church. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
