Bombers hope to make run at District 20 title

      The Sayreville High School wrestling team heads into the NJSIAA District 20 tournament this weekend with the eight 20-match winners and a team-record 23 wins. Nevertheless, it's been an extremely difficult year for coach John Denuto's team. Curtis Knight, the father of Mike Knight, and John Randall Boulton, the father of twins Nick and John Boulton, passed away during the season.

      North Brunswick's Alex Francis goes up strong during the Raiders' 54-52 win over Edison in Edison on Saturday in both teams' warm-up for the GMC Tournament. The Raiders, seeded 16th, went on to beat Middlesex in the second round to set up tonight's match-up with top-seed Piscataway.

      The North Brunswick Basketball Association is proud to announce the dates for its Annual March Madness Tournament - March 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 and finishing up with the championships on Sunday, March 18. All games will be played at Linwood Middle School, Parsons School and North Brunswick High School.
