Saint Peter's University Hospital will host "Advanced Techniques for Treating Chronic Pain" Oct. 5 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Sister Marie de Pazzi Conference Center, 254 Easton Ave., New Brunswick. The free seminar will feature Dr. Didier Demesmin, a pain management specialist at Saint Peter's. He will discuss topics such as treatment options ranging from aspirin to programmable infusion systems. Refreshments will be served. The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a blood drive Friday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It will be hosted and sponsored by Princeton Healthcare and the Ambassador's Committee of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce at the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Office, 1 Distribution Way, Monmouth Junction.
