Crowd enthralled by SBHS marching band

Thank you for the feature in the Aug. 31 edition on the South Brunswick High School Viking Marching Band ("'Opposing Forces' won't just be playing football").

All band parents were entertained on the evening of Aug. 30 when the marching band returned from their annual band camp and presented their newly learned half-time show to a group of mostly band parents who greeted their children on their return from the week-long experience.

The hard work of band directors Mark and Ginny Kraft rubbed off on all of our talented children.

The entire crowd was most appreciative that Schools Superintendent Gary McCartney, Assistant Superintendent Joanne Kerekes, SBHS Principal Timothy Matheney, and every assistant principal from the high school were at the school to share on viewing the great performance. I am sure all of our children appreciated this support.
