Obituaries Mary F. Bonanne-Payne Mrs. Bonanne-Payne, 79, of North Brunswick, died July 6 at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, she resided there prior to moving to North Brunswick 50 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She is survived by a son, James T. Payne of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Thomas Bonanne of Plainsboro; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church. Burial was at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
Odette A. Chkaiban Ferris Mrs. Ferris, 82, of North Brunswick, died July 9 at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, she resided in New Brunswick, prior to moving to North Brunswick in 1955. She was a seamstress at Bond Clothing Company, New Brunswick, and a line worker at Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick. She was a communicant of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Somerset section of Franklin Township, and St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Ferris in 2005; three brothers; and a sister. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Bernard Brustowicz of East Brunswick; a son, Edward of North Brunswick; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be July 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Sharbel Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Peter J. Roster Mr. Roster, 93, of North Brunswick, died July 2 at Spring-Hills at Somerset, Somerset section of Franklin Township. Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of the area prior to moving to North Brunswick 23 years ago. He was a general foreman at Metallo Gasket Company, New Brunswick, for 43 years, retiring in 1986. He was a communicant of and trustee at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. He was also a member and past president of the church's Holy Name Society. He was a member and past president of North Brunswick Pioneers Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Dilk Roster in 1998. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Peter J. and Leslie Roster Jr. of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; two sisters, Catherine Watson and Elizabeth Watson, both of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a brother, Anthony Roster of Brielle; and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. John's Church. Interment was at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Jean A. Rupprecht Otken Mrs. Otken, 63, of North Brunswick, died July 10 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of North Brunswick. She was a member of Georges Road Baptist Church, North Brunswick. She is survived by her husband, Edwin W. Otken; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Edwin Otken of North Brunswick, and Jeffrey and Jennette Otken of the Dayton section of South Brunswick; her mother, Dorothy Rupprecht of Budd Lake; a brother, David Rupprecht of Budd Lake; and two granddaughters. A funeral service will be July 13 at 11 a.m. at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment will follow at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
