'Catholic Response' to Da Vinci Code May 4

The Diocese of Metuchen Office of Evangelization will host "The Catholic Response" to the Da Vinci Code May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway.

The program is being presented in preparation for the May 19 release of "The Da Vinci Code," a movie is based on Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code." Providing the Catholic viewpoint will be Stephen F. Miletic of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio.

He will address issues raised in the novel such as the role of Mary Magdalen in the life of Jesus, and the organization Opus Dei.
