Auditions

Playful Theatre Productions will hold auditions for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats” at Mercer County Community College, Dec. 15, 7-9 p.m., and Dec. 17, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with callbacks Dec. 18. The audition room location will be posted at Kelsey Theatre on the college campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. Those auditioning will be asked to perform a contemporary musical theater song that illustrates range and acting ability, and should come prepared to dance. Sheet music is requested; an accompanist will be provided. Those auditioning must be 16 years of age or older. All parts are open. For appointments and details, call (60) 799-3158. Mercer County Community College will hold auditions for “Stalag 17” from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 17 and 5-8 p.m. Dec. 18. The show will be presented by Like 40 Productions in February and is directed by Dan Spalluto. The audition location will be posted on the signboard at Kelsey Theatre on the college campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a serious two-minute monologue and to submit a résumé and photo if available. The cast includes 21 men ages 18 and up. The Theatre Guild of Old Bridge Players will hold auditions for adults (ages 16 and older) for “Snow White,” Jan. 4-5, 7:30-9:30 p.m., at the new Carl Sandburg Middle School (formerly known as Old Bridge High School West), Old Bridge. All roles are open. Those auditioning for the role of a dwarf should be of smaller stature. Show dates are Feb. 25-26, March 4-5. Details: (732) 607-8462.
