Raymond P. Torres

Mr. Torres, 37, of Green Brook, died May 2 at home. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in North Brunswick, the Fords section of Woodbridge, and New York City prior to moving to Green Brook two years ago. He was a computer technician at Morgan Stanley, New York City, for 1 1/2 years, retiring due to an illness two years ago. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Torres in 1983. He is survived by his mother and her husband, Jennie “Lola” Ferro Torres and John Saluka; his companion, Christine Paden; a daughter, Emily Vargas; five brothers, Henry Jr., Richard, Albert, Edward and Louis Torres; six sisters, Charlette Luna, Michele Torres, Gail Miller, Marie Kimmins, Fayth Kaminsky and Tina Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be May 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Memorial donations may be made to The Scottish Rite of Northern New Jersey Puckey Estate, c/o Hasbrouck Heights Children’s Masonic Learning Center, Division Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights 07604-1721.

William J. Lacina

Mr. Lacina, 86, of East Brunswick, died April 29 in JFK Haven Hospice, Edison. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was employed by the Ford Motor Co., Edison, where he worked for 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Florence Sokolski Lacina; seven children, William Lacina of Spotswood, George Lacina and Leonard Lacina, both of North Brunswick, Carol Mordaga of Maywood, Lawrence Lacina and Edward Lacina, both of Monroe, and Michael Lacina of South Brunswick; and 17 grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Hospital, P.O. Joseph Scales

Mr. Scales, 94, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, died April 25 at Princeton Medical Center. Born in Spring Valley, N.Y., he had resided in Florida before moving to Kendall Park one year ago. Before his retirement, Mr. Scales was a plumber. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera Scales, in 1988. Surviving are two sons, Robert Scales of Kendall Park and Donald Scales of California; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be April 29 from 7-9 p.m. at Rezem Funeral Home in East Brunswick.

John Dooley

Mr. Dooley, 81, of East Brunswick, died April 19 at home. Surviving are his brother, Joseph Dooley of Arkansas; three sisters, Elizabeth Hilcken of East Brunswick, Grace Taylor of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick and Joan Russell of Hamburg; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.

Mary Joan Nelson More

Mrs. More, 59, of East Brunswick, died April 25 in JFK Hartwyck at Edison. Surviving are her husband, Wallace More; and a son, Kevin More of South Brunswick. Paratas services are set for 7:30 p.m. on April 28 at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. A funeral liturgy is planned for 10 a.m. on April 29 at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Karl Angloher

Mr. Angloher, 73, of East Brunswick, died April 27 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Rita E. Fleischmann Angloher; a son, Eric W. Angloher of North Brunswick; a daughter, Christine M. Jennings of Jackson; two sisters in Germany; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Hospital, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.

Caterina Certo Maimone

Mrs. Maimone, 93, of Old Bridge, died April 21 in Old Bridge Manor. Her husband, Rosario Maimone, died in 1980, and a daughter, Grazia Catanese, died in 1996. Surviving are three sons, Giuseppe Maimone of East Brunswick, Santo Maimone of North Brunswick and Pietro Maimone of Hawaii; three daughters, Maria Ruggeri of Edison, Francesca Drulis of East Brunswick and Anna Cassissi of North Brunswick; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Julie Evans Tafuni

Mrs. Tafuni, 61, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 28 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Surviving are her husband, Anthony; a daughter, Elizabeth Ericson of Spotswood; a son, Robert Thompson of North Brunswick; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Troy Ericson of Spotswood. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Parlin.

Theresa Archacki Ciszewski

Mrs. Ciszewski, 78, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 29 in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard “Jacko” Ciszewski. Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Fogler of Parlin and Patricia Boyle of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; a sister, Clara Slicner of the Fords section of Woodbridge; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
