Obituaries Lillian Nocotra Forte Mrs. Forte, 88, of North Brunswick, died Feb. 24 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in New York City, she resided in North Brunswick for the past 83 years. She was a timekeeper at E.R. Squibb, North Brunswick, for 17 years, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of St. Mary Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. She was a member of the North Brunswick Republican Club, Senior Citizens Club and E.R. Squibb retirees. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Forte in 1976. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Salerno of North Brunswick; two sisters, Agnes Bartley of Vacaville, Calif., and Jean Turczany; and four grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated March 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church. Arrangements are by Cremation Services of Central New Jersey, East Brunswick. Clifford E. Shelhamer Mr. Shelhamer of North Brunswick died Feb. 24 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he resided in Edison prior to moving to North Brunswick in 1965. He was an assistant plant manager at Whittaker Chemical Company, North Brunswick, for 32 years, retiring in 1991. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the United Church of God, Somerset, since 1968, and active in several church functions. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hastings Shelhamer; two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Helen Lewis of Mountain Top, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Entombment was at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Albert J. Mulvaney Mr. Mulvaney, 78, of Mays Landing, died Feb. 28 at Atlantic City Medical Center-Mainland, Pomona. Born in Newark, he resided in Manalapan and Clarksburg prior to moving to Mays Landing three years ago. He was an inspection supervisor at Lockheed Martin, Plainfield, retiring in 1989. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Donna R. Herrick Mulvaney; a son, Alan Mulvaney of Jackson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Jeffrey Vesecker of Cincinnati, Patricia and Glenn Hofstram of Williamsport, Pa., and Cheryl and Dan Davis of the Dayton section of South Brunswick; a stepdaughter, Diane Elder of Port Charlotte, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren. Visitation will be March 3 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick. A funeral service will be March 4 at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church, East Brunswick.
