Golden Key ID program at center on Sept. 28

The Middlesex County Golden Key senior ID program will be at the South Brunswick Senior Center Sept. 28 at 12:45 p.m. Cost for the card is $6, and seniors must pick up an application from the center in advance. The center is at Route 522, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

Seniors age 60 and older may obtain the Golden Key card. Needed at time of registration is one of the following: a certified birth certificate from vital statistics (if married, female must also present a marriage certificate), a valid U.S. Passport, adoption papers, a valid U.S. military active duty photo ID, certificate of naturalization, certificate of citizenship, a valid permanent resident card or valid foreign passport with I-551 stamp and valid Visa.

Additionally, one of the following secondary documents is required: Social Security card, Middlesex County voter registration card, New Jersey driver’s license with a Middlesex County address, municipal, county, state or federal government employee card, and DD-214 military discharge record.

In addition, as proof of Middlesex County residency, one of the following is required: business mail with name and address issued within the last 90 days, property tax bill, statement or receipt with name and address within the last year, recent tax return form with name and address, recent pay stub with name and address, and valid driver’s license.
