     Reading with interest your story in the Aug. 12 issue on straw-bale house construction. I was startled to see "straw is the byproduct farmers get when they harvest hay."

     The election Nov. 2 will be one of the most important in the nation’s history — every eligible voter should participate. To be eligible to vote in New Jersey one must be: a United States citizen 18 years old or more by election date, and resident at present address for at least 30 days.
