Duilio L. "Dewey" Grassis

Mr. Grassis, 83, of North Brunswick died June 5 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of North Brunswick. He was a retired tool and die maker, and member of the Quarter Century Club at Johns-Manville Company, North Brunswick, where he was employed more than 40 years. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Horvath Grassis; a daughter and son; Gloria Papai and Michael Grassis, both North Brunswick; a sister, Gloria Zavetz of East Brunswick; and a grandson. Interment was at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.Alexander Kenko

Mr. Kenko, 83, of North Brunswick died June 5 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New York City, he resided in Toms River prior to moving to North Brunswick five years ago. He was a mechanic at United Shoe Machine Corp., New York City, retiring in 1980. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is sur­vived by his wife, Maria Fedyn Kenko; a son, Alexander Kenko of Old bridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Charles Batten of North Brunswick; a sister, Sophie Russo of Oceanside, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. En­tombment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
