Blanche A. Milko Salatowski
Mrs. Salatowski, 80, of South River died April 17 in Care One, East Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a plant worker with E.R. Squibb and Sons, North Brunswick, where she worked for 13 years. Her husband, Stanley A. Salatowski, died in 1989. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Kosa of Tucson, Ariz., and Arlene Certo of Monroe; a sister, Josephine Kanaval of South River; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Raymond A. Miklaszewski
Mr. Miklaszewski, 81, of South River died April 12 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he was employed as a boiler operator for Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 35 years. He was predeceased by a stepson, James D. Brown. Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Rapko Miklaszewski; a daughter-in-law, Debra Brown; a sister-in-law, Helen Michaels; a granddaughter; and four nieces and two nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Robert Louis Thomas
Mr. Thomas, 80, of Spotswood died April 9 at his daughter’s home in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machinist with DuPont Photo Products, Parlin section of Sayreville. His first wife, June Baumann Thomas, died in 1969; his second wife, Irene Jaglinski-Mullen Thomas, died in 1995; and a son, Robert L. Thomas Jr., died in 1997. Surviving are a daughter, Lois Giovannone of Hoffman Estates, and four grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
Langdon J. Greenley Jr.
Mr. Greenley, 68, of Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died April 8 at home. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; three sons, Kenneth of Denver, Lawrence of Audubon, Pa., and Russell of Piscataway; four stepchildren, Jack, Diane, Drew and Susan Kollman; a brother, Richard Greenley of Lakewood; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Interment was private. Harold H. VanArsdale
Mr. VanArsdale, 83, of Monroe, formerly of Milltown and North Brunswick, died April 1 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Doris Nichols VanArsdale; a son, Neal A. VanArsdale of Robbinsville; two daughters, Cindy Marshall of Cranbury and Keri Goback of Monroe; and six granddaughters. Charles Sherman Bare
Mr. Bare, 79, of East Brunswick died April 17 at home. His wife, Betty, died in 2003. Surviving are four daughters, Patricia Bare of Cary, N.C., Karen Bare-Herzig of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, Tracy Bare of Raritan and Cathy Bare-Forman of Somerville; a brother, Robert Bare of Shady Springs, W.Va.; a sister, Florence Tolliver of Beckley, W.Va.; two grandchildren; and several cousins. Graveside services were held at Holy Cross Cemetery, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
