Carol Barrett, Edmund Luciano and Charles Carley are the Township Committee candidates to vote for on Nov. 7.

South Brunswick Republicans offer chance for thoughtful leadership
I have been active in the community for a number of years and I have had the good fortune to meet a lot of people. I strongly believe the Republican candidates seeking office this year represent a great chance for steady and thoughtful leadership.

Luciano, Barrett and Carley will keep their word in South Brunswick
South Brunswick is fortunate to have people in office who keep their word. South Brunswick

Broadcast of budget meeting should have been announced
Since North Brunswick began broadcasting its public council meetings, I have been very careful to watch Channel 71 for dates and times of future meetings, which is why it was such a surprise to see a broadcast of the budget hearing on Sept. 18.

Residents feel N.B. council not to blame for group homes
North Brunswick has seven group homes with an additional three under contract (four of which are located within a four-block area). North Brunswick has enough car washes, thank you
North Brunswick does not need a car wash on Route 130. Route 130 is crowded enough. We already have a car wash on Old Georges Road, just a few blocks away from Lyons Plaza, The Auto Club. They even pick up and deliver if you can

Luciano, Barrett and Carley are on the right track
In just under two weeks, we will be voting in a very important election. Not just for the president of our country, but for those local voices of Middlesex County and South Brunswick. That is why I urge you to get out and vote for our County Clerk Elaine Flynn and Democratic Freeholders John Pulomena and Jim Polos. They have already proved what they can do for Middlesex County.

Antisell’s replacement is a highly qualified candidate
Usually, when a candidate withdraws from a slate for personal reasons, the political party in question has a hard time finding a suitable replacement. Happily, for the local Democrats, that hasn

Council wasted $19 million, not $70K, claims resident
I read with great interest, an article that showed our Township Council wasted $70,000 on an engineering study to outline a plan to spend $19 million over the next 13 years, to keep our road system in North Brunswick in good shape. You may wonder why I say "wasted $70,000" since, on the surface, it seems like good planning and, at the agenda meeting, the council and mayor couldn
