Area teacher earns
board certification

Linda Koos, a teacher for the North Brunswick Township School District, recently received National Board Certification from the Business Coalition for Educational Excellence at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

Koos joins 16 of the state’s accomplished teachers in achieving the credential, which demonstrates the teacher’s commitment to the highest levels of teaching and student achievement.

Alchemist’s to present ‘Pippin’ April 30, May 1

The Alchemist Theatre Company of North Brunswick High School will present "Pippin" April 30 at 8 p.m., and May 1 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $8, and $5 for students, and all tickets are sold at the door. Education panel slates

craft and vendor show

The Milltown Education Foundation will sponsor its Spring Craft and Vendor Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 24 at Joyce Kilmer School, 21 W. Church St., Milltown. The event will feature more than 60 crafters and vendors, giveaways, food and family entertainment.

Admission is free of charge.
