Vendors sought for Monroe Country Fair

Vendors are sought for the Monroe Township Country Fair set for noon to 6 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Thompson Park, Perrineville Road.

The event is sponsored by the Monroe Township Mother’s Club and the Monroe Township Recreation Department. Rain date is Sept. 14.

The fair will feature all-day entertainment with DJ Wacky Wayne and the Sunset Boulevard Band; the Monroe Township Police Department Color Guard; food; games for children; crafts; a petting zoo; pumpkin painting; pony rides; the Little Miss Monroe, Town Squire and Baby Buggy contests; a car show; band and karate demonstrations; the Monroe Wolverine Flag Cheerleaders; a 50/50 raffle; a "moon walk"; fireworks at dusk; and more.

Admission is free. Pets will not be allowed.
