B’nai Tikvah plans
cof­fee house event

Congregation B’nai Tikvah invites anyone interested in learning more about its committees, programs, reli­gious and nursery schools, youth groups, and other activities to attend a "coffee house" on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. There will be live music.

Clergy, members of the board, and representatives of committees and groups within the synagogue will be in attendance. The program is free and Classical Caterers will serve refresh­ments. Children are welcome to attend.

Congregation B’nai Tikvah, a mem­ber of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, is a handicap-accessible facility located at 1001 Finnegan’s Lane, North Brunswick.

Area Adelines honored as Members of Note

The Millstone Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International recently honored 18 Members of Note for their participation in and contributions to the chorus during the past year.

Area honorees are Shirley Heinsohn, Kingston section of South Brunswick; Shannon MacInnis, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; and Laurie Roland, Dayton section of South Brunswick. The women were honored for rehearsal atten­dance, performance participation, leader­ship position, committee activity, and other areas.
