Area canines to compete in ‘all star’ event

The third annual "All Star Obedience and Agility Championships" will be held Aug. 8-10 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at RexPlex, 1001 Ikea Drive, Elizabeth. Three local dogs will be participating in this year’s competition.

Peanut and Tango, two smooth-coat fox terriers, and Suni, an Australian shepherd, will demonstrate mastery of the various exercises and skills required in the competition. Peanut and Tango are owned by Ingrid Butt, and Suni by Elicia Calhoun, all of North Brunswick.
