Bulletin Board The borough of Jamesburg will hold its third annual Tonkery Boulevard Street Fest and Car Show from noon to 8 p.m. on Aug. 9 along West Railroad Avenue, Jamesburg. The festival will feature rides for children, cars, a "burnout" contest, a monster truck ride and a food court. Vendors will offer collectibles, crafts, trinkets and informational literature. Car registration will cost $10 prior to the show, $15 on the day of the event. Trophies will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit the borough’s recreation department. Chronic fatigue will be topic at Aug. 13 lecture The Wellness Education Foundation, East Brunswick, will sponsor a free community lecture on chronic fatigue syndrome at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 13 at Borders Books and Music, MidState Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick. Topics will include symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, poor concentration, light sensitivity, balance problems, irritable bowel, heat/cold sensitivity and/or panic attacks. Participants will receive information on the latest research, causes and drug-free treatments for the syndrome. Registration is necessary. Seating is limited to the first 25 callers. Musical production to benefit Camp Daisy The East Brunswick Young Adult Charity Players will present That’s Show Biz!: An Insider’s Look at Broadway at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14-16 at Playhouse 22, Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick. Proceeds from performances of the musical revue will benefit East Brunswick’s Camp Daisy for individuals with disabilities. Tickets will cost $10 at the door. Woman’s Club sets flower show at fair The East Brunswick Woman’s Club will host its annual adult flower show from Aug. 7-10 in the home arts building at the Middlesex County Fair, Middlesex County Fairgrounds, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. The East Brunswick Woman’s Club is a service organization that supports local police and fire departments, rescue squads, libraries, hospitals, needy families, East Brunswick’s Camp Daisy and other causes. New Brunswick alum to celebrate 25 years Alumni are now being sought for the New Brunswick High School class of 1968’s 25th reunion, scheduled for Oct. 25 from 6-11 p.m. at the Pines Manor, Edison.
