Women’s commission thanks sponsors, participants of conference

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who helped to make our 2003 Leadership Conference a success.

This year we attracted more than 250 participants and 55 speakers to South Brunswick High School to make this our most well-attended conference to date.

Students and adults alike attended two workshops, selecting from among 20 offerings, and were treated to breakfast, lunch and a day of networking.

A special thanks to the panelists who gave their time for the benefit of our students.

South Brunswick has some very generous businesses in town who provided funding, food and products.

I would like to thank Frankie’s Cafe in Dayton, Theo’s Family Restaurant of Monmouth Junction, The Bagel Exchange of Dayton, L’Oreal, Shirley’s Jamaican Cooking, Ming’s Garden in Kingston, Gloria Nilson GMAC Real Estate of Kendall Park, Pierre’s Restaurant of Dayton, MEDICIA, Kendall Park Pizza, Willa Spicer, Super Stop & Shop of Dayton, and the Robert A. Lawrence Jr. - Brett T. Bailey Memorial Foundation.

I’d also like to thank our keynote speaker, Regena Thomas, New Jersey’s Secretary of State, for her inspirational and fast paced address.

Thank you all.

Cathy Dowgin

Chairwoman
