Kendall Park Roller Hockey, located at 3550 Route 27 in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, will begin the first session of 30 and over roller hockey on Feb. 4 Interested players should call (732) 297-3003 for information. Teams and individual players accepted. Experience is not necessary. This is a non-contact sport, played in a safe, padded arena with certified referees.

The Middlesex County Department of Parks and Recreation will conduct the annual Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders Basketball Tournament starting March 10. This year’s tournament will be held at the Middlesex County Vocational School, 21 Sutton Lane, Piscataway, and will consist of four divisions: Youth Division #1 (12U); Youth Division #2 (13-14); Youth Division #3 (15-17); and Adult Men Division (18 and over). Both boys and girls are welcome to participate. The entrance fee for all divisions is $50 per team. This is a single-elimination tournament. Application/roster forms are available by calling Chuck Roberts at (732) 745-4222 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Division entries will be limited, on a first-come-first-served basis. Deadline for application is Feb. 21. Rosters and birth certificates must be carried by each coach for verification before the first game and for subsequent games if required.
