Bulletin Board ‘Mind & Body’ Dec. schedule announced The December schedule has been announced for the South Brunswick Advisory Board of Health’s Mind & Body television series, beginning with "Vaccines: Separating Fact From Fear" this week. "Avoiding Collisions: Parents, Teenagers and Cars" is airing this week, and "Cholesterol — From the Heart" is scheduled for the week of Dec. 16. "Guide to Healthy Living for African Americans" will be shown the week of Dec. 23, and "I Am Your Child" will run the week of Dec. 30. Broadcast days and hours are: Monday at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Friday at 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sunday at noon and 7:30 p.m., and the new weekly broadcast begins Monday at 9 a.m. Shows are on TV-3. South Brunswick AARP to meet on Dec. 13 The South Brunswick chapter of the AARP will hold its next meeting Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at the South Brunswick Senior Center, Route 522, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. Police Dept.’s Meet Santa Day Dec. 15 The South Brunswick Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Local 166 and the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 51 in cooperation with the South Brunswick Police Department announced that the annual Meet Santa Day will take place on Dec. 15 from noon to 3 p.m. This year’s event will be at the Radisson of Princeton located on Route 1 and Ridge Road. Each child will receive a small gift and a photo with Santa. Refreshments will be served (cookies and juice). A $1 donation is optional. All proceeds will go to a local charity. Cub Scout Pack No. 98 clothing drive Dec. 13 South Brunswick Cub Scout Pack No. 98 will hold a clothing and household item drive at its next meeting, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
