GEORGE STEWART SIGLE, 74, of Jamesburg died Dec. 20 at home. Born in South Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a farmer and the owner of Claire’s Farm Market, South Brunswick, He was a member of the Farm Bureau. He was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Arthur. He is survived by his wife, Claire (nee Ryan); three daughters, Barbara Kissling of Monroe, Deborah Sigle at home and Georgette Motyka of Jamesburg; a brother, Edward of Old Bridge; a sister, Frances Neff of Jamesburg; and three grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.

DOMINICK PIZZIMENTI, 86, of East Brunswick died Dec. 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Calabria, Italy, he came to the United States in 1929, settling in Brooklyn, N.Y. He moved to East Brunswick in 1986. He was the owner of Premier Meat Market, Ozone Park, Queens, N.Y. for 37 years, retiring in 1983. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the founder of the East Brunswick Senior Citizens Bocci Club. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joy Russo. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances (nee Onemma); a son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Susan Pizzimenti of Suffern, N.Y.; a son-in-law, Vincent Russo of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; a sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Larry Cirillo of Staten Island, N.Y.; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Gilda Pizzimenti of Staten Island; two sisters-in-law, Rose Pizzimenti and Josephine Pizzimenti; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass of Christian burial was offered at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, East Brunswick, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

GLORIA DONATO, 71, of South River, died Dec. 20 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South Amboy, she lived in South River most of her life. A member of the National Rifle Association and a South River committeewoman for many years, she was retired from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Association, having served for many years a sheriff’s officer. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, who died in 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Gloria; three sons, Joseph A., Gary and William; her mother, Dorothy Primka Kern; two sisters, Clara and Joan; a brother, William; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stephen’s Protomartyr Church in South River and entombment was at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, offerings may be sent to the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Chemotology or Oncology department, or the Make A Wish Foundation.

WILLIAM G. HACKER, 73, of Old Bridge died Dec. 22 at home. Born in Newark, he moved to Old Bridge 46 years ago. Before his retirement in 1982, Mr. Hacker was an administrator in information system operations for Bell Telephone for more than 30 years, first in Newark and then in East Brunswick. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he served as a seaman first class. Mr. Hacker was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Evelyn (nee Ferrara), who died Dec. 3. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy McIntyre of Spotswood, and Sharon and Don Miller of East Brunswick; a stepson, Robert Scarpino, and his wife Jan, of Port Clinton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge, followed by interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

THOMAS McMAHON, 87, of Monroe, died Dec. 18 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. He lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he was born, until moving to Monroe 50 years ago. He was employed as a truck driver for the Maritime Elec. in New York City before retiring in 1990 and was a member of Teamster Union No. 807. His wife, Mary, died on Feb. 21. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Connell of Pennsylvania and Arlene Smith of Spotswood; three sons, James of Pennsylvania, Thomas of Helmetta and Daniel of Pennsylvania; a sister, Molly Hagerty of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, and interment was in the Holy Cross Burial Park Cemetery, South Brunswick.
