Community Education offers ‘holiday discount’

South Brunswick Community Education is offering a holiday discount for early registration. It will waive the $5 fee for new students who register by Jan. 12.

Classes begin on Jan. 3 with Intermediate Sewing, followed by Hand-built Pottery on Jan. 9 and Watercolor Painting on Jan. 10. Two one-session courses offered include American Sign Language-Advance Beginner on Jan. 10 and "Instant Piano!" on Jan. 20.

Other offerings include social dancing and computer courses.

South Brunswick Community School will offer Adult Basic Education (ABE), Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED) preparation, and English as a Second Language (ESL) beginning in January. Registration for ESL is Jan. 8, 7 p.m. at South Brunswick High School. Registration for ABE/GED is Jan. 9, 7 p.m. at North Brunswick High School, Raider Road and Route 130.
